Someone waving you off is usually a pretty good indicator. As rude and disrespectful as it was for him to do that... it was equally inconsiderate for you to continue with your "pitch". That sounds MORE than just a little bit arrogant. The tone of language used sounds very judgmental. Hence arrogant and prejudiced.
