ive searched the fsm, the forums, and there is no discussion anywhere about how to remove this damn thing. im just trying to get the bottom half out to change the expansion valve. ive got every bolt out and the front part comes down a little bit, but it still wont slide forward or anything, just wont budge, anyone?

Cut it open using a hot blade then reseal with silicone. This is what i did to mount my fan control amp for the dcc.

The two a/c lines (thru the fire wall) have to be seperated. It's best (easiest) done w/ tubing wrenchs, not sure of the sizes but without them, you'll have to disconnect (not remove) the a.b.s. and wiper motor to get enough room to wiggle a couple of cresent wrenchs on the fixed (solid) line and one on the spinner (the hex fastener that isn't welded to the tubing) line.(both lg. & small lines) (one of the a/c lines is 1 1/4 " + so you'll can use all the room you can get) If you've already taken the 4 to 6 screws out from under the dash, then w/ a few twist the whole box will be on the bench in no time. Good luck.
