So i was trying to get my Vent control valve off my evap canister, well it turns out one of the bolts want to be stuborn and not come off. So i figured I would just take the Evap canister off so It will be easier to try to get the valve off. well all 3 bolts connecting the mount to the frame rails broke. and now they are stuck in the frame rail. even the bolts connecting the Evap canister to the mount broke.

Not sure how to get the bolts out of the frame rail and still not sure on how I'm going to get the vent valve off the canister. Is there any way to get the Evap canister open with out breaking it? or does it not come apart.

Bolt snapped and stuck in frame rail. (Any suggestions on how to get them out w/o damaging frame rail threads?

Vent control valve wont unscrew from evap canister, bolt keeps spinning and spinning.

Anyone know where I can buy the Evap canister Mount? i tried to look at courtesy parts, but I didnt have any luck. It got too confusing.

Also does any one know the sizes of the bolts I need? all i know is that they use a 10mm socket.
Thanks in advance.

Try your local salvage yards.

Already did, nothing within a 100mi radius. Plus I sorta wanted to buy new, especially the bolts and mount. I'm more worried about getting the bolts out of the frame rail safely and getting the vent valve off without damaging it.

You can try left hand drill bit screw extractors, they work pretty well. If worse comes to worse, you may have to drill them out and use a wurth insert or something like it.

Whoa what car is that off of and where does it mount to? I may need to get one of those. Please post a further away picture of the frame rail if possible. But i would try to drill the threads out all the way through with a small bit and then use a reverse bit.

Is that on an s14 omg.

Do we even need that? Or is that more emission stuff?

Cell pop up saying my fuel tank pressure sensor was bad, guess I know where it is now.

Yeah it's just more emissions stuff, but I need it to pass inspection. I'll post more pics of the frame rails and stuff after I get home from work.

And I think I'm going to do what you guys said and use a smaller bit, then a screw extractor.

@Omega-The Evap Mount screws into the frame rail using 3 bolts (The ones I'm trying to get out of the frame rails) Then the Evap canister bolts onto the mount using 3 seperate bolts. Like I said though I'll get better pics when I can to help explain. All this stuff is behind my rear passenger wheel behind the plastic liner.

Oh i see, that's awesome. I really need to get a different located evap canister because i cant fit my stock one where it usually goes since i have intercooler piping running right there. I don't just want to leave the tank vapor line open so I've been looking for a new style canister that i can run the line to.
