Evap canister leaking fuel bad! (1990 240)

okay so I had a tear in an intake hose that was pretty bad right before the throttle body so i duct taped it as a temporary fix yesterday and went and drove it hard to see if it fixed my problem... it did until today when i went to put the car up on some ramps at my house to check out gear oil in transmission and rear end since trany is being stupid but that i think it the TO bearing but anyway it does it randomly i guess it starts leaking really bad out of the bottom of the canister into the subfram and poors out of there until I depressurize the system then it drips dry. any ideas why? and no i didn't overfill tank and the vacuum control on the top of the canister holds at 25"HG im pretty sure only fuel vapor is suppose to be in there but i took the canister out and shook it and fuel definitly came out >.<

Replace the canister.

uhmmm replacing parts at random is expensive what about my check valve in the fuel system? that could cause it too i think
