Evaluating a 1992 M30 convertible

Trying to evaluate a 1992 M30 convertible (134K)... any suggestions as to what I should look for...any thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks

Just a couple quick items from when I was looking at M30's ...

Condition of convertible top/mechanismSuspension (shocks/struts/etc)TransmissionTiming belt changed?

And as always get as much maintenance history as possible.

see if the transmission shifts okay and if the drop top has any leaks or works good.

nicoclub and f31club.com are pretty much the only sites that have info.

keep everyone posted.

What Rex said, and make sure the power top still works, auto-latches, and doesn't leak. See if the owner/dealer will let you pour a bucket of water over the car. On black tops its hard to see small holes and cuts.
