So last week I left my Versa at the new Nissan dealer until the torque rod is fixed.

Was told last Tuesday that the part would probably be here today. He also said "my car could be picked up at any time", but I decided to leave it there until it was fixed.

Called them up today and they said the part may not even be in until next week, it's sitting in Albany (hello, anyone ever heard of FedEx?).. and furthermore it took 10 minutes for them to figure out that my car was still there, because they thought that I had picked it up. WTF?!

Yeah, well my gauge assembly is apparently MIA. I called and they told me that they can't find one anywhere. They were supposed to call me in five days, but I guess they decided that they wouldn't call me because the part never came in. How is it that replacement parts can't be found anywhere?

This is why I keep saying, "I LOVE THE CAR! Can't stand the lack of concern on Nissan's part to fix the things that need fixing!"

Ah, they only lost your gauge cluster. They lost my whole car. Technically.

It was there, but they thought it was in my driveway.

I may need to pick it up unrepaired, because I absolutely need it this weekend. I still don't like the idea of driving with a cracked torque rod.

What a saga. I drove by the Nissan lot on Evergreen Way, they have 6 or 7 Versa's there. Maybe you could throw the lemon law at them and deal your way into one of there new versa's.

I will never step foot on that lot. THOSE guys are blatant liars and cheats. I did not buy from them for a very specific reason.

Do me a favor... don't go there either.

i saw a car catch on fire from an oil changes

OK well the side story goes. This PT cruiser went in for an oil change, and the tech guy left the oil-ie rag inside the engine bay when it close up the car. let just say the dude drove 5 miles down the road to where i work, and the entire car was on fire in the parking lot.
