Does anybody know where I can find European side marker light (yellow)?

Can I use the one designed for Nissan Qashqai? Are they compatible?

Thanks!

you can order any side marker lights from any online store, and wire them in. it will require you to drill holes in your fender.

Not OEM, but wouldn't look to bad.

I was referring to the back tail light not the side light.

I will use the Rogue in Europe so I have to comply with local laws which require to have yellow as turn signal lights .

That's why I asked if I can replace Rogue's back lights with the ones used by (a) Qashqai.

That's only part of the hurdles you face:

Can I bring my car into the UK?
Most USA and Canadian design and construction standards will be accepted as being equivalent to Single Vehicle Approval standards. There are, however, two important exceptions in addition to the above lefthand traffic requirements.
Most North American cars follow a different convention for the color of their external lights. Front side lights, and all turning indicators are likely to require modification - including the addition of frontside repeater turn indicators.
There are no standards on external projections in North America. Beware of vehicles with features such as "bull bars," non-retracting mascots, and protruding exhaust pipes. Modifications may be necessary for use in Britain.

Lefthand Traffic
If your vehicle is left hand drive, it will probably need to be modified or adjusted for use in left hand traffic. In particular:
Headlamps will need to be replaced or adjusted to produce the required dipped beam for left-hand traffic. The alignment requirement must be met without the use of masks, beam converters or adapters unless they are an integral part of an approved headlamp.
For vehicles first used on or after April 1, 1980, at least one rear fog light must be fitted on the center-line or the offside of the vehicle.
Rear view mirrors must give the required field of view for use in left hand traffic.

either i totally missed your initial quesiton, or you went back and rephrased your first post. anyhoo

no, the two taillights are totally different. unfortunately your out of luck UNLESS you somehow stick orange bulbs in there and they light up orange through the red lens.

Yea, spotted that Qashqai down in Marigot, Saint Martin, and have even considered trying to get the tail lights for my Rogue. Given the body styling differences, I'm fairly certain they won't fit.

I don't see a problem of drilling a metal when you want to install something. Dip the hole around in paint, get the wires throw and cover up with your emblem on top of it (with 3m double tape under it). About 7 months ago I have installed dual color nissan emblem on the trunk and have no problems at all:

i dont mind drilling metal either, i just did for my spoiler. the problem is that the quarter panel wont accept a different shape tail light, given the shape its bend in for the stock tail light.

I don't know what the hell I'm supposed to be looking at in the first video, but the following ones were good :naughty: In Da Club lol

The hiding license plate was cool though. If there was a way to hide the back plate as well would be great for tolls :naughty:

Also, congrats to Vasyl and Olga :chuckle:

I don't think that local authorities would accept that...

I think I found a solution for your problem...

All Rogues have two circular, TRANSPARENT reverse lights on the back. Replace their white bulb with amber/yellow bulb. Rewire the whole assembly, so that when you give signal, the circular signal lights (previous reverse lights) will blink. The authorities require yellow signal light, but they cannot specify location or size right? (as long as it is extremely small or not close to the sides)

In this picture you can see the yellow circular turn signals and a proposed rear light add on to the bumper

- The old red signal lamps will act same with the rear red lights.
- You will add external white lamp on your bumper (I don't know how) for your new reverse lights...

Done!

GREAT IDEA SQASH!

i thought of the same idea for him, but forgot to write it.
you dont have to loose your reverse light. you can simply just drill a hole, add a grommet, and install an additional bulb into the reverse light housing. you will have to route wires from the turn-signal you have now, up into the lift gate. pretty easy actually.
