I would almost be tempted to get them, open them up, shave the chrome off, tape off the lights, spray gloss black where the chrome was, seal them back up, and smoke them.

they wouldn't be bad if they were smoked, and got rid of those circles in the center piece and in between the two brake lights, that just looks ugly, no need to worry coupe owners because the coupe isn't all that popular in the first place, lol!

Perhaps, as someone sort of mentioned, spray paint those lenses with testors transparent candy red paint. I think it'd turn out to be nice, no visable chrome housing and yet when it lights up you get them circles. I've already painted my stock lights with the transparent red paint, so no more amber turn signals, all red.

Blacked out they look ok. With all that silver reflective garbage they look like ***.

I still want STOCK kouki's tho.

there are some tails like that available for the Z32's and Accord's.If you like underglows and chrome rims, then the circles and paint look is for you.Very interesting, in a Miami Vice kinda way.

You know, as i'm looking at them again, i realize the problem here.The real kouki's have the circles protruding out from the housing and these imitations have encased seperate light reflectors. They are also missing the nice orange parallell lines between the circles that i dig so much. I really dont think they are an option on this hatch owner's list anymore.
