Euro Glass Headlight- Daytime running light?

Hey, i have Euro glass headlights on my s14 and noticed that there is an extra connector on them and there is a strip on the top of the headlight that looks like it would be used as a daytime running light. Does anybody know what that is for? Thanks

A picture might help, but I'm from Canada and have DRL's but nothing to what you're describing.

So i went home and took a headlight off, and opened up the little box with the connector on it to find some motors and screw gears in there. I guess the EDM headlights have some sort of automatic adjustment. Pretty interesting.
