Hey Guys,

Has anyone seen any ECU chips that will work for our Altima Coupe 3.5??

I think it would be a good cheap mod, if I can find one to that is good quality.

Thanks guys

Do you want this one that guarantees 50+ HP and 15 mpg that gives you Real Results?

Or do you want this one that is a 2 in 1 performance chip that is the Latest Update and gives 50+ HP and 15 mpg?

Or do you want to go big and get this one: the X Performance Chip that gives 130 HP and 40 mpg?

And guess what? They all are guananteed to give those results! Wow!You can not go wrong-----or can you?

Not if you still believe in the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and Santa Claus.

Throckmorton....you need to chill out he/she just ask if there were any ecu chip don't need to come off being a jerk like that.

Anyways there is currently no ECU chip out for the Altima Coupe. The only thing that is out is the Bully Dog GT which allow you to reflash the ECU.

Not to be a jerk, and as I chill out responding to you, I will point out that you are not quite correct in your response. There are plenty of 'snake oil' performance chips on the market. Look at my origional post, and check the links to the ebay sales of these worthless chips.

I guess that this thread was easy to miss, as it is in the 4th Generation Altima (2007+) section, and is near the top of active threads.

performance chip?????????????

Or if one is really curious, you can enter the words ‘performance chip’ in the Search function of this forum.

This is what came up when I searched.

Search Results: Your search for performance chips returned 21 results.

This particular thread is my favorite, as the comments by JeromeS13 echo my thoughts.

Here is a primer on how to search: zer...earch

It seems that it is easier to ask a question on this forum than to take the time to search for a response.

You're resorting to semantics now? Really? That's a touch of desperation on your part in order to prove you're correct this time. A bit bored, are we?

there's also the technosquare reflash that works

Only option for a real tune is the technosquare reflash. You need to email them and send your ECU to them for about a week then you'll get it back tuned.

There is also the BullyDog GT tuner which some people say works for them.

reed - go see dave @ function tuned. he is a certified tuner for UpRevhe'll take the data off your ecu, send it to uprev for the tune, then reflash

sorry i've been pretty much a ghost for local meets and stuff - rediculously busy - on top of that my transmission is on its way to SFR to be built

Call first, because....

A few months ago, I stopped into UpRev (they're based in Austin) to get some info about getting my Altima tuned. Because mine's a CVT, it can't be dyno tuned, but I let them download the ECU info and was told to give them a few weeks. Yesterday, I stopped by again and talked to Rich to see if they had a tune for the Altiima yet. He said that they haven't dynoed an Altima yet, so... no tune yet.

There might be a solution though, so instead of hijacking this thread.....

In that case, it sounds like UpRev (and likely Technosquare too) need a 6MT to dyno before they can build a tune for the 3.5.
