We take issue when special-interest groups throw money at politicians to influence their votes - How ethical is it for congressional staffers to accept trips from foreign governments in an effort to influence their behavior as well?

Are we "selling America"?

Appears so. I think it's highly unethical, but leave it to our Congress to exploit a gaping loophole when they passed their post-Abramoff legislation meant to curb that very behavior. :tisk: Hopefully this new Congress will do something about it. But I just don't have high expectations for it happening given the ugly partisan climate in DC these days
