I noticed in my garage that I have a few qts of oil and filters for my G37...since she's gone, this stuff needs to go! Let me know if your interested.

was there a noticeable sound difference with the VVEL system when you used ester oil??

i have noticed when i use Penzoil Ultra my car is much quiter than with Mobile One EP... it was also very queit with royal purple, but pennzoil Ultra is cheaper(also avaliable in walmart in the 5 qt) and acheived the same quieting of the VVEL system RP did, so i stopped buying RP.

how much is the Pennzoil? I found a shop online that sells RP for $8-9 a QT with no shipping. I did notice the valve train was less "chatty" on start-up with the ester. I used 1QT of ester when I did a change.

$27 for 5 QT at walmart or like $7-9 for 1 QT just like RP...

walmart also has Mobile One EP 5 QT for $25 or $8 for 1 QT

exactly... less chatty on startup and almost no noise at idle... ive forgot my car was turned on a couple times lol with the pennzoil Ultra or RP
