By any chance is there anyone here that is fluent in spanish and can maybe help me translate this paragraph into spanish? I know there was a translation website that somebody told me about and I couldnt find it?? I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me, please:)

Heres the paragraph.....

He was born in New York City in 1975. In his early years he lived in his parents homeland, the Dominican Republic. He attended Westminster Christian School for highschool. He's important because he's one of the best baseball players in the MLB today. He was selected player of the year by The Sporting News, players in MLBPA Players Choice Award voting and by Baseball America.

I know it sounds stupid, I was tryin to make it easy to translate.

damn dude, do your own homework! haha I had to suffer though 4 years of spanish classes, and I pretty much learned next to nothing. I could translate that into spanglish without a problem, but real actual spanish? I dont think so.

this site is easy and all that, but usually the translations are pretty poor.. but hey you gotta do what you gotta do. http://www.freetranslation.com

The free translation is pretty accurate. AZHitman's translation has some grammatical errors, but it was a good try. :)

If I'm not mistaken paiz should be spelled pais(accent over i)

and su should be sus because padres is plural... I think..

They are trwo completely different verbs. Fue is the past tense of ir (to go) Era is the past tense of ser (to be)
