So this year I do not have a girl friend on valentines day, so I took the money I would have spent on a gift/dinner/flowers/candy and bought some laser shifters for my car. I got a great deal and paid 75$ on craigslist. They look pretty easy to install except for one problem. The rear laser shifter is a license plate mount and I already have a rear view camera mounted on my license plate. Does anyone know of any good alternative locations? or would it work if I put it inside the car somewhere on the back window?

http://www.guysoflidar.com/jul....html scroll down a little past half way for the test results the zr3 doesn't protect your car almost at all giving you a false sense of security.

On the other hand the Laser Interceptor does a amazing job Jam To Gun almost every laser gun. This is the one you want to protect yourself from laser speed traps. The Laser Pro Park comes in second place but if i were going to get one i would go for the Laser Interceptor no matter the cost because it is the best one on the market right now.

went ahead and installed the zr3 today. Was a pretty easy install and I think I did a good job. I ended up mounting the rear lens in the front for some extra protection. I don't think cops ever really laser from behind. I ordered a bottle of veil for my head lights and I will apply it when it comes. Now to find a speed trap to test it out

I used to be really big into radar and laser products im not telling you this to be an a@@ im trying to warn you and i wish you didn't install it already so you could of returned it and bought a model that is hands down much better. Heres some results for you and a link to the main site used to discuss radar n laser countermeasures. Oh and the zr4 is just a upgraded z3 it still uses LED detectors/shifters which has been proven to be sub-par compared to active units.

it may be sup par but those other units will cost 1000$. I spent 75$ installed on this unit. I also believe I will have better protection than those results because I have a third lens in the front and veil spray for my headlights. Also just because it does not jam to gun does not mean it did not work. Instead of the laser gun taking half a second to get my speed, it will take a few more seconds which gives me time to slow down.

Vonvivo, thank you for that website! I will be purchasing both the laser interceptor and veil... that should make me damn near invisible without triggering jam codes!

vonvivo, I think you pride yourself on being an a$$... you know you do... this isn't something that happens by accident... but even that doesn't stop you from offering positive advice when you want to, and I respect that... some folks are just negative about everything, and that helps no one!

when your laser goes off, slow down until you are at the speed limit than turn off your jammer. You are less likely to get pulled over that way because they will get your speed and no jam code.
