okay guys .... I installed ES subframe bushing in my s14 a little while ago but I didn't read the instruction before i knock out the OEM cracked bushing..... after I finished taking out the old bushing, i picked up the paper and it said not to take out the metal part that will hold the new bushing in place..... so now my subframe rock around when I smash the gas pedal or slam on the brake.... is there any way to fix that? .... the ES bushing just float around the subframe ..... =/ :stupid me: ....

i'll jack my rear end up on the chassis so that nothing is supporting the subframe jsut to check but i had it hanging like that before and it was fine iirc. i'll give it a good stress test though

I did the same thing. When to hammer the energy bushings in and they just fell right through. I'm surprised you even got it back on the car like that, mine wouldn't even stay inside the subframe.

I ended up going with SPL solid aluminum ones and they really aren't as harsh as I thought they would be. The diff noise can be a bit annoying sometimes, but I usually don't even notice it. I drive 130 miles to work every day and no major complaints about them

Not trying to come off rude, but the instructions clearly say do not remove the metal collars. I greased up the bushings & had to stand on them to go in, but they're snug.
