My car reads a message in the dash saying STOP LIGHT INOPORATIVE. Ive got no idea what it means so if somone can help me, it would be great, and one more thing. Ive got a few scratches on my ca 1 on my rear bumper and a lot of peeling on my roof of my car. What grit of sad paper should i use. thanks

I believe that you have a burned out brake light.

The paint question... You can try using a "cutting polish" that will cut away some of the clear coat. You will have to work your way thru many grades of grit polish. Start with the coarsest one and work your way to the finest, then to polish then wax it. I personally won't use sandpaper on a car, because I'm not that skilled of a body/paint guy.

.....and if you can't locate a burned out bulb check each of the sockets in the brake lamp assemblies. They tend to melt, especially if you replace burned out bulbs with non-OEM.

Common to periodically [every few years] replace the rear sockets as commonly available bulbs don't meet oem specs [Toshiba].

Sockets have to be the most common inventory item besides filters, belts, and spark plugs, brake pads and rotors.

I bought both my g20 and q from them-great sales service,but they no longer stock much for the older cars-guess the neighborhood demographics dont warrent support of them ( very,very few older lux cars in the zipcode}
