error message on cd changer on my g35

Does any one know if there is a way of reseting the cd changer on a 2003 g35 coupe?

Welcome to NICO!

Search the site a bit and you'll find that you are not alone. The 03-04 G35's have a problem with the CD player/AC system. Basically, you need to replace the head deck, there is no way to reset it.

There is the option to send the unit off to an aftermarket shop that can fix 'em, or you can have the dealer replace it.

The problem is a faulty circuit board that the CD player and AC controller share. Luckily, you don't have a problem with the AC!

I suggest replacing it with an aftermarket double din than tryin to repair... thats what i did and its kooler than that 03 model headunit

Thanks for your suggestion, but if i change it to an after market radio will my factory navigation still work with it?

yes. you just wont have the functionality of the voice(not a big loss).

you will need a dash kit to upgrade in addition to the stereo.
