****er hit my parked car Lastnight!

Im at work and a hear a loud *crash*. I got outside and this dumb **** with a beat up 72 ranchero hit my car. I went outside to make sure he wouldnt leave. He was drunk as hell and keep babling on about how he would pay for it. I make a few calls including the cops and start talking to him again. (trying to control my anger , cause i almost hit him a few times) I had a witness who saw it and was talking with him and i went inside to make another call. All of a sudden the guy just took off leaving his car behind and ran for it. This was after i had already gotten his drivers license info , etc. (he didnt have insurance =\ ) The witness chased him but the guy who hit my car got away. When the cops got there i simply gave them all his info and when they came back he was handcuffed in the car. He went to jail for Hit and run and got a DUI. I only had liability (im pretty much ****ed for now).Yea...yesterday was a ****ty day.

damn all that sh1ts pretty crazy. im always so paranoied that someone is going to hit my car and leave. i go to college and it sits in a big lot. ive already had sh1t happeded to it. one time i came out and there were huge dents and creases in the hood. and there were foot prints on it so i guess some A##hole decided to use my hood for a trampoline, stupid son of a Biatch. but i got it fixed for cheap at my work.

My whole Drivers side door is virtually useless. The car still runs fine , even the alignment doesnt seem too bad. Power window still works. Still roughly about 1200 worth of work if i go to a professional body shop which i wont since my next door neighbor works at a bodyshop. Hell , when i sue him i might even come out on top.

The only problem with sueing him is:

His car wasnt worth more than 500-600 dollars.

I watched the car get towed , it will prob never be owned by him again.

He still lives with his parents.

He looked like white trash.

yeah, but give us some sort of estimate as to the $ amount of damage done to your car. then we could all feel the same amount of anger as you:mad:

It will cost me about 500 or so. Thats getting hooked up. I think i will have my neighbors bodyshop give me like a 1500 dollar receipt.

Its the principle of the matter. I have to wakeup every day and look at this bs on my door that some fuc|< stick did. It will take awhile for all of this to take place , and i have to pay for the work first. I just bought some 5zigen wheels and 2 yokohama AVS e100 tires. I was going to buy the last 2 this friday.

Also imagine how long its going to take to get this peice of **** to pay.

Doesnt you have "un-insured motorist" on your policy? I know I do (state Farm)

Well of course i dont , that would make my life easy. Moral of the story: Read your insurance policy carefully.

I got freeway insurance btw.

Sorry about your car at least you know who did it. I had somebody back into my old car in a parking lot. I got outside and both light were smashed, hood crumpled, windshield cracked, and both fenders messed up. I didn't know who did it and they drove off like nothing happened, didn't even leave a note. It all happened while I was at work. I had full coverage, but its just the fact that you will be out of your car for a while and it will never be the same again. Nick

that sucks man. my car go hit when it was parked once.

i had to have it parked in the st cause my parents cars take up the drive way and garage. its like 8 at night, not expecting any vistors and then the doorbell goes off. theres my neighbor from up the st. he tells me a white pick up just pull off of my car... im like WTF!!! i go outside, my whole fender is crushed in and barley hangin on, so im like this is BS! im thinking who has a white truck... non other than my neighbor across the st. my mom goes over there and is talking to the guys wife, hes gone (acording to her, for hours now.) she sits there and basicly swears to god that her husband didnt do it. so my moms like whatever i got a whitness the cops have been called, youre FUC KED. cops come and start to take a report, and the door bell rings again. it the wife and she says her husband got back, and says that it was him. he had come home and got something and she didnt notice

now thats some sh1t, he striaght up backed into my fender and didnt stop to let me know. and it was major not just some litle dent. his whole corner of his bumper was blue from the paint transfer. so ever since then i am like FUC K you when ever i saw him. i shoulda shot his POS POOR MANS ferrari with my paintball gun...

oh yeah i rmemeber that... glad to here you got that fixed.

yeah im in the process of doing cosmetics on my car... gona get a CF hood cause my mom closed the garge door on my hood and the local shop wants 300 to push out a dent smaller than my pinky... so ill get the hood and fix the dent my self have it painted and sell it...

Hey, ask you insurance about "uninsured motorist". Thats what covered my car, when a guy in a stolen SUV hit my car and ran. All I had to pay was the deductible. And they covered the rest which total was $1700. Ask them about it.

I think in Florida everyone has a policy called Florida No Fault. Sucks you dont have it. Time to rip off the insurance and get some goodies for your car =)
