Hopefully, you've learned a $45 lesson.

Wish in one hand and poo in the other, see which one you get a handful of.

If you want more power from your car, start doing add on's to your engine. That will make more difference than soldering in a $45 dollar chip. Most ebay chips just increase timing and fuel, knock and speed limiter delete. Those are a dangerous combination if you can't see how much timing/fuel is increased. You only open up the ecu or replace it with a full fuel management is when there is a lot done to your motor, then its time to make changes to the "map" to compensate for those upgrades. I have seen honda guys put so much money into turbocharging their civics and think ebay chips with turbo map add on will just be enough. Only to find their motor has blown to pieces halfway down the track. If tuning was so easy as to buying the chip on ebay, everyone would be doing it.

I fix honda's off on the side even tho I hate them. But hey, the money is funding my 240. I got into chipping Honda ecu's about 2 years ago and playing with fuel and timing maps soon after. The equipment to start tuning is expensive but I figured if I'm building my own cars. I just mine as well learn how to tune my own cars. Its a lot of fun, despite a lot of reading, learning and money involved along with patience. Can't wait to play with Nistune sometime down the road!
