epic win at the dmv!

went to the dmv to finish up my bill of sale and get a duplicate title.Well it turns out the guy(steve) i bought the car off never finished his bill of sale from the previous owner before him.So the guy at the dmv tells me that i need the original owners signature and i have no idea were the hell she is. My heart sank and i was gonna fug up that guy i part the car from. But then the dmv guy tells me that steve was in the dmv in march to start the process to get the car in his name, he asked me if steve gave me any paperwork and i in fact had paper work in the glove compartment with the original owners signature on it so he told me to bring that in and i can get the car in my name.

Now that was not the epic win, the epic win is that steve payed for registration till dec of 2010 and i got a temp permit for my car now just gotta smog it, new springs n struts and brakes and its doneheres some pics(this is my first time with pics on this site so if they arn't on here when your reading its cuz im fixing it lol)Shes dirty but bare with me.

thats cool that it all worked out for you. getting the title for my car was a b****. i didn't get plates on my car for 6 month because the dealer messed up the paper work on it. and some how he got it fixed. he also made it to be a single owner car for me. which is was not. clean ride though. congrates!

thanks Im need new plates aswell but thats simple i take my remaining plate to the dmv with 19 bucks and bam new plates i was so worried about getting this car registered and transfered and it came out so much better then i could of hoped for.So i needa swap the cat et it smogged then some rsr springs maybe new struts, brakes some interior work, then manual swap and turbo but to far away to be thinking about right now.

I assumed that he was but hey you know what they say about assuming :Pbut ya it was my first car and i bought it last second so i didnt know all what i was doing but im rather happy with my decision. Gonna try n pick up some rsr springs this weekend and i really want crystal tail lights buthas no moneys!

oh and more epic win while leaving the dmv a red vert rolled past me then in the lane next to me a black vert with a silvia front end turned all within like 10 seconds twas shmexy

this is what i was worried about since the remaining plates tags ended in 2006 i think so i was shatting my pants when i asked the guy how much registration would cost.When he told me it was already payed for "i jizzed in my pants"it made my dayi just need new plates smog(swap the cat) and suspension brakes and a few minor interior pieces such as the light switch but ya ima get rsr springs for $180ishsound good u guys idk much about suspension or prices :P

oh and when i called the dmvs automated services to find out registration fee doesnt the late fee stop building up after a year after it expires? and isnt it like $70 bucks after that?
