"Yeah, one of those bottles treats between 12 and 17 gallons of fuel. You put two bottles in a 3.x gallon tank = you're going to have to flush that. unless you used the NOS energy drink instead of injector cleaner, then you've really done it...

It wasn't an energy drink. The bottles were blue and looked just like a NOS bottle

Are you messing with us? Because the stuff that looks like a NOS bottle, IS an energy drink...I think you're screwin' with us...The fuel additive doesn't look like a NOS bottle... "

May have some reel problems now. I just went outside to mess with the car, to see if I could figure out what is going on. I check the oil and it smells funny. I went and pulled the containers out of the trash and found that I put two quarts of brake fluid in with the castrol. So now I have oil additive, Castrol and brake fluid in my engine. I will try and drain it out now and put good oil in it and see if it fixes the problem.

well it is running worse now. I changed the oil and cleaned the engine out last night and now it is running worse. It took me a while to get it to start, once it did it smoked some and seemed like it was missing a spark plug, while making the metal clanking noises. maybe I should change it again?

What did you clean it out with?

I used brake clean. I figured if it had brake fluid in it I should use that to get it out. I drained the oil, sprayed about 4 cans through it while turning the motor over at the crank bolt then drained it out and put more oil and about 2.5 quarts of lucas in it to thicken it up.

I did not change the filter because I thought it was new enough. Should I go back and change the filter? Do you think that is my problem?

When I was 18 I worked at Unelko the company that made Rain-X. I hung out with our sales people and they would tell stories about the calls they received.

One guy told me that a old woman called very upset planning to sue us for ruining the paint on her new Cadillac. Sales guy had here get the bottle of rain-x out of the trash and read the label to him. Turns out her husband put brake fluid on the windsheild and was trying to get it to do what rain-x does on accident.

Priceless. LOL

Some where scary. The guy who did butcher his fingers was kind of crazy.

My favorite the BMW with no oil change for 40k miles. LOL

I saved those pictures.
