This is not over and if just because you think it has been quiet and the dust has settled then you are wrong, the EPA is mirroring California emissions to the rest of the country and Canada working with Canada's EPA. Also a $35,000 fine has been talked about for all non conforming vehicles found, this s*** is not a joke and any car no matter how small the modification is at risk ( even a cone filter/ bolt dress up kit would cost you $35,000)

Here is the link:

If everyone has not seen either of my videos on the EPA issue go and watch them

The petition is to go after the problem which is the EPA and to investigate the head of the EPA for being corrupt and ulterior motive make sure to sign and spread the word.

This petition is written soo poorly I find it to hardly be legit. Also. does it have any supporting documentation?

I'm inclined to agree, it seems like a lot of the smaller petitions are like this. The bigger issue is that larger, better written (and possibly more impactful) petitions get lumped in with these and don't get taken seriously.

Additionally, smaller petitions fragment the movement with multiple petitions for the same cause perhaps getting overlooked where a single, large, well-written petition would draw some attention to the cause. Or, a concerned person signs their name to the first petition they see and thinks that they've done their part and that's it, even when there may be a better petition out there they signer, thinking they've done their part, moves on to other things.

We've already been talking about this here. This is just a small & oblique example of the fragmentation I previously mentioned above.

These petitions make me chuckle. People really think the government gives a $#@% about them and their little petitions. Sorry kids.

While I'm inclined to agree for the most part, I do see some validity in a group gathering together en masse mainly for the sake of awareness and publicity. The fragmentation effect really hurts this as it's much easier when there's just one "face", so to speak.

Overall though, the only petitions I feel even have any real benefit are the ones on whitehouse.gov, after all, it got the government to address the construction of the Death Star.

This isn't the petition response you're looking for.

Only because some Senators got a kickback on the construction contracts, though. ;)

I'm hoping to win the contract to install the stripper poles in the clubs, but I'm worried about those damned rebels.
