I'm trying to activate the entry/exit function for the seats and steering wheel and so far nothing. Holding the "set" button for 10 seconds is supposed to activate or deactivate the seat sliding back and the steering wheel retracting when exiting the car.

Did all automatic coupes come with this? I know it's not available on the manual trans models.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Likewise.....I did not think this was a feature either. My Murano had it but I never thought or expected my coupe to have it. Maybe I'd better check my owner's manual.

Is this with nav or without?

I know on mine you go to Settings, then choose "Comfort and Convenience," and then there is an option to change "Move Steering Wheel on entry/exit" and "Move Seat..."

That will turn them on for you.

Without the nav, I don't know...

My 07 sedan works like Eukaryote explains. I've got the nav, so I'm not sure if it's the same without it.

Unfortunately, the coupe does not have this option on the Nav screen. I'm pretty sure the sedan has a different, upgraded nav system. The G37 coupe looks to have the same system as the new sedan, but our '07 coupes still have the older pop up version. I checked it out yesterday, and there is no entry/exit feature selection on the settings screen. I'm going to call the dealership today and see if I can get an answer on this and I'll share what I learn. I'd love to get the feature working. Had it on both of my BMW's and even on my Chrysler 300M, and miss it now.

cheers,Paul

Talked to my sales rep yesterday, and after trying to tell me how to set this feature in a sedan, he talked to his "product rep" who said that this feature is not available in the coupe. When I pointed out that the coupe owner's manual discusses this feature, the rep said that the manual has information for both the coupe and the sedan. Not sure I'm buying that, but since I can't get this feature to work, and no one else on the forum seems to have it working either, maybe it isn't available on the coupe after all. If any of you out there have an '07 coupe with premium package and auto trans and your steering wheel moves up when you turn your car off and moves back to driving position when you start her up, please let the rest of us know how you got it to do that. My sales rep's solution was to set memory position 2 for the exit position and push that button every time I stop the car. Don't think I'll be doing that.
