Regarding the speed; Unless you have a speed gun, any readings you get on the track are extremely inaccurate. Your rear wheels spinning free will register a much higher speed than what you are traveling.
Reminded me a lot of the old parking garages we'd skate in back in the day in Phoenix. Those surfaces were ridiculously slick and the place was dark as hell.
