my 2000 maxima has recently started overheating. i have replaced the thermostat and radiator cap,and flushed the coolant system. The water pump is not leaking and i pulled the small bolt to bleed the air from the system. there is no loss of power, no coolant in the oil and no smoke coming from the exhaust. when starting the temp comes up like normal.The fans kick on but they continue to stay even when driving.this is my wifes car so i drove it the other night. the temp gauge was normal then climbed then went back down. T he entire time the fans were running. What 's next

You might check the temp sensor(s). Usually there's one for the gauge and one for the ecu to kick the fans on. If they're constantly running there's a good chance the sensor is bad.

Another thing you might check is if there's any junk between the radiator and condensor. If there's enough stuff between there it can potentially cause it to over heat.
