Mine has rotted through from the manifold all the way back to the chrome tip. Actually, the chrome tip still looks OK. Anyway, imagine my horror when Mida quoted $1,658.66 to replace. Local workshop said it would be $1,403.99with OEM parts.

After some searching, I came across http://www.rockauto.com and it seems like I can get all the parts, gaskets, hangers for abot $770 including shipping.

Any ideas, suggestions, help on getting better deal than this (I'm in southeast FL). Although car is nine years old, it only has 60K miles and is in pretty good shape.

Appreciate the help. Thanks

Personally, my favorite exhaust for the 4th gens is the Greddy SP2.

From the manifold to the cat, you should be able to get the pipes from a salvage yard and the gaskets from a parts place. You can always look for a aftermarket y-pipe of some sort and get a free-flow cat for relatively cheap which will have hangers and you will simply use the factory rubber bushings. From the cat-back standpoint, you can get a full cat-back system like Scott linked to or get a aftermarket b-pipe and a muffler to finish it all off.
