is any one running this ecu from boost designs. i plan on running it with the stage 2 kit becuase of the precise tuning but im going to rebuild my engine with 9:1 compression after a few months of boosting. is my timing going to be messed up with the enthalpy ecu or will i have any problems. also can this ecu also be used at low boost becuase it does have a slight timing retard which is not nessecary under 8 lbs of boost.

it did everything for you....you can turn your boost controller it to hi boost or lo boost..or just cruise on no boost...

that ecu seams awesome and reading reviews of the jwt ecu i think i like the enthalpy one better. anyone know about that timing?

Yes. What about it?

since the ecu cannot see boost there is no way for it to adjust according to it. a tunned ecu has a timing map and at a given load it has a certain amount of timing it runs

ok so if im only at 6 psi there will be no effect on my motors timing?

If your only running 6 psi there does not NEED to be an affect on timing.

yes i knwo this but if the ecu does not read boost pressure how does it apply the timing when needed. on and off boost and partial boost. does it work of load. sorry im just confused

works off airflow (MAF) based load instead of pressure (MAP) based
