To start off, I searched and came up with mixed answers

I recently blew my motor. So while I'm rebuilding it with forged internals i picked up a used motor for free. I am going to drop this sucker in hopefully to make a few auto and drift events. My question is: Is it OK to lower my Boost with an Enthalpy tuned ecu?

He tuned my ECU for 12psi, but since I'm putting in a used motor i would like to lower the boost down to 8psi. Will this have any ill effect on my timing? or will my tuned ecu compensate for it?

it should be just fine, you have to go past 8 to hit 12, and enthalpy is pretty good, you might need to add a degree or so but it might be spot on. give him a call

Howd you blow your motor with an enthalpy tune?

The tunes fine for whatever psi, i asked him and he tunes the ECU to the max MAF reading all the way down to the smallest reading.

yea u will be ok to run lower boost as his tunes have that tuned for. it will modify the timing/fuel to the boost level but it is always best to check them with a timing tool and wideband.
