We just bought a 2015 Nissan Rogue SL and noticed that the buttons(camera, volume, sxm, etc) aren’t lit up at night like say the ones for the a/c gets etc. tried to see if it was a fuse but couldn’t figure it out. Am I missing something? They do light up correct? Odd if they didn’t since it’s impossible to see the buttons at night. Anyone have this issue? Attached photo to show

Check it for a firmware update, that was one of the "bugs" in the early Bosch navis. To see your version:

Turn the ignition on and the audio off.
Hold down the Apps button and then twiddle the Tune/Scroll knob rapidly back and forth.
Menu appears showing a "Version" button.

If the version displayed isn't D407 or higher, it's buggy and the dealer has a thumb drive to update it. The update takes about 50 minutes plus some screwing around to reset the unit and make sure the repro took, so they shouldn't charge more than 1.5 hours for it. The repro is a good fix, we rarely see any issues with those units after they get the update.
