Just recently I was asked to join a local car club (Insidious Rydz) The two founders just wanted a club where nobody was an a$$hole and everybody was into cars and it doesn't matter what you drive. Right now our group consists of my coupe, 1991 300zx tt, 2008 scion xb, 02 mustang GT, and a Civic si hatch.

So this weekend we participated in our first show as a group and personally my first car show ever. We were definitely the black sheep of the show, as it was essentially a classic car show with an added motorcycle and import category. There were 6 truck categories and 6 car categories and 1 import category lol. The two imports that won were at least 30 years old which makes sense because majority of the people there were over 65 years old lol and it was "peer judged" which meant you could only vote for best in class if you had a car entered in the show. So needless to say nobody there knew anything about imports so the oldest cars won.

We all had a blast regardless and we will def be back next year and with more people so we can better represent. I actually won a drawing and got a 75 piece socket set lol

on to the pics!

Ok I'll start with our category. Imports

This 1972 240z won 2nd in our category

and this won first in the import category- i thinks it's an MG or something.

Ok this sick right hand drive R33 is owned my a friend of a friend and he basically got kicked out because he didn't want to compete, just draw attention to the show and attract people. He didn't want to pay the entry fee so he left a parked just outside the boundaries right by us and pics don't do it justice. I has a fresh $6000 metallic purple paint job and is just a work of art. Plus if I remember right it's in the sub-80k original mile range.

thanks for looking guys, and if you have never been in a car show you should. It was such a great experience just hanging out and talking cars with all different kinds of people and being able to see some really neat cars up close.

^And this.

I have only been to 2 East Coast shows, one of which being Carlisle. Most of the AC NICO NJ/NY/PA/VA/MD/CT crew came to both. At the first show we had 10 NICO ACs, Carlisle we had like 15. Good times for sure.
