Enough luggage room for EX35

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I dropped off my wife and son (6.5 yrs old) to the airport last night with

3 pcs of 28-in. upright 28"H x 19"W x 10"D luggage. (45 IBS each)

1 pc of 25-in. upright 25"H x 17"W x 9"D. (35 Ibs)

2 backpacks (20Ibs and 10 Ibs)

I had to put my son`s booster seat (Recaro Vivo Lite) behind me so I could

lower the larger portion of the backseat. I stacked the luggages on their

sides -longer side parallel to the car. The one 28" luggage next to my son

was stacked flat, just for safety reason. It could fit in another 28" next to it

if needed. (If both stacked on their sides )

The 2 28" luggages and 25" one stacked on their sides in the hatch, tight

fit. The 2 backpacks placed next to my son. I still had a good view of the

road behind . We drove 1.5 hours from Wisconsin to Chicago O`hare in a

slight heavy rain averaging our speed at 60-65MPH on snow tires...

I was impressed of the room the EX35 has or maybe I could get a job

stacking luggages at Mitchell or O`hare airport .

I also had to cover the seats with comforter to avoid scratches.

BTW, I`m only 5'7" and I had to adjust my seat to accomodate my son

sitting on the booster seat (with back) behind me. So far I`m impressed!
