well before i do a rebuild my goals are like 220whp. im going to be using a safc to control sr injectors (370cc) i would like 300-350 whp after rebuild( forged everything) around 15-20 psi.. but for now 220 on stock internals with a good dyno tune should do it.. i was thinking about a t3/t04e 57 trim 0.63 a/rIWannaS15 wrote:It depends on how much power youre trying to make. If your aiming for 300+whp, I'd suggest the T3/T4.
Get a turbo that can "grow" along with your project. A T3 super 60 (what I was running) is not a good turbo for high HP applications. May as well start with a turbo that can handle a lot of power...MS180SX wrote: I just cant pick a darn turbo
i was wondering what turbo size, trim and a/r everyone was running at what psi and the power it was making.. I'm looking into building my own turbo kit. I want to run 7-10 psi for now, and then 15-20+ next year sometime after a rebuild. should i get the t3 super60 w/ .63 a/r or go with a t3/t4 hybrid?
thanksTim
NICE.. Im thinking about building my own kitturbocalculator rebuilt turbo, jonnyracecar FMIC w/ custom piping and prob IAP mani/downpipe.. sr injectors, safc2, walboro 255, and a good oil line kitMarkEmark wrote:

T3/T04E .63 a/r 50 trim is the de facto ideal choice for almost all KA-T projects running anywhere from 250-450 whp.
