However, I believe that the _bigger_ problem is the way in which other groups of people (read: terrorists) choose to "demonstrate" against the US. At best (although, there really isn't anything good here...), it is just more lives lost on the fuel pyre of our Holy War.

War and fighting have existed since history has been recorded (excluding the "pure" cases; the Garden of Eden) and, unless something very, very strange happens, will follow us--humans--to our extinction (replacement?).
