Found this video on YT recently. Dunno how much it translates to the CA, but thought it might spark some thoughts on the process given that the video focuses on the 4g63 cast iron block and there might be some translatable things here.

I don't THINK that applies to the CA. I'm pretty sure all of the internal the oil galleys are fully machined, not cast.

CA18 only oiling problem seem like its to get oil to 'adequately' drain back to the pan.
Don't see a supply issue

And really, the oil drain issue is a PCV issue. The factory crank case vent design is undersized. Once you overwhelm it, the gases start going up the oil drains. Then the oil pools in the head.

Then it spits-up oil through the exhaust side valve cover. Oh well, it still works ;)
