What do you guys think about the evo 5 ones? http://www.enkei.com/jpeg%20fi...1.jpg

I personally want to stay away from silver and anything lighter than the color of my car which is magnetic gray. The 17's look nice, anything larger is too big IMO.

I'm fairly new to this whole tweakin' the car thing, but is it necessary to install new springs for any rims?

I've been considering those too, but im Liking the gold ones for my fresh powder vee.

But those do look very nice and springs are not necessary after the install of the rims it just eliminates the look of a "monster truck"

Necessary? No. Would it be nicer? Less gap between tire and fender lip will look nice, but you sacrifice ground clearance and the ride quality will change (for better or worse, that's subjective... some people like the ride stiff, some like it soft). Handling will be more responsive.

Back to your original question... what is necessary depends on what you want out of your car and what you use it for.

i have the tanabe springs installed and i dont have much trouble getting in and out of driveways.... not even much trouble going over speed bumps.... as for the handling.... its only slighty stiffer then stock... infact you hardly even notice.... and you're right it does look better..... are you going to the versa meet next month?
