Hey guys,

I was just browsing around as usual looking for some nice rims.
I came across an ad that was selling the 19" 2011 Maxima Sport PKG rims and the ad claims that they are made by Enkei for the Maxima Sport PKG .

Has anyone heard of Enkei providing OEM rims for NIssan?
This is my first to come across so if anyone has any idea on this, let me know.

Most likely "Enkei" is stamped on the back of the wheels. They were a provider of many Nissan/Infiniti OEM wheels, along with Rays. I'm sure there were more in recent years, lesser known brands as well.

The OEM Maxima Sport wheels are actually ENKEI, see link below http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissan-M ... 822wt_1000

They are stamped on the back in the 5th pic.

Much thanks to everyone who contributed to helping me in figuring out this question.

I have the 2008 Altima Coupe 3.5SE with the OEM rims (17") and the reason I am looking for new rims is because one of them has a bit of a bend in one of them and I really want forged rims.

So I've been searching and searching for Nismo LM GT4s or the G35 Rays Forged Wheels and I almost had a chance to get the Nismos but I am currently out of town and the guy sold them before I could even get in touch with him.

Anyhoo, I guess what I'm wondering is if I get these Maxima rims (which are made with the same material as my OEM rims, right?), will the difference in size contribute to reducing/increasing the chances of bending the rims again?

I don't think those Maxima wheels are forged.

There's a couple different 350Z & G35 forged options, but the newer rears will be too wide/too low offset for an Altima Coupe. Your best bet might be to find 4 fronts (as singles or loose pairs). Heck, if you found a full set of G35 19's, I might trade you my fronts for the rears :D.

yeah the maxima rims aren't forged. but i am in need for a set and i have a pretty good offer coming in for these maxima rims, they definitely weren't on my list of rims but i just randomly came across them and i think they look great. so i'm gonna buy them and see how it turns out, and i'll figure out if i'm going to sell them later on. only if you were in canada, there actually is someone who is selling the rears of the g35 rays staggered set. i don't know if he's willing to ship to ohio so that's a bummer. but if you are interested, i'll try to get you his contact information and maybe you can sort things out?

Thanks for the offer, but I've sent things across the border before, and I wouldn't wish that hassle on anyone.

Thanks again.

Yes, those are very nice wheels. Unfortunately, the few sets I've seen for sale were either curbed badly or diamond coated (based on the $1500 asking price).
