I'm pretty sure that emanage allows you to use only the MAP for air flow. Its only a voltage signal anyways. As long as the voltage reading is calibrated correctly it should work fine with the stock ECU.

BTW I just got the tracking number from Enjuku and it says I should receive the kit on Thursday. So this weekend is install weekend. :)

The point at which the MAP sensor takes over can be set using the support tool. I don't think it's designed to work under vacuum. So you will have to make sure the airflow you clamp the MAF signal at is a point where it only reaches that airflow under boost at. I say as long as you have a MAF, you might as well use it to it's full extent. Or use the MAF swap feature and just use a bigger MAF.

But keep in mind that the Preprogrammed E-Manage is password protected so you can't tune the program unless you reset the E-Manage, in which case you will lose the existing program.

As far as manifolds are concerned, I'd cut the flange. But that's just me. Better to prevent cracking in the first place if you ask me. My used XS kit came with a crack in it already. I had it properly welded, but it still cracked. I took much precaution with my new Rev-hard mani.

As far as stainless steel, it's a great material for manifolds. It is plenty strong. The only problem with stainless is that it expands a lot with heat. Reliefs for expansion are absolutely necessary. But properly made, it should be quite capable of handling the loads of any turbo system.

I would just plan on working on installing the oil return line over the weekend. That can take up a lot of time since you should drop the oil pan. If you can just get that done, and don't have the time to finish the rest, you can just cap it off until you have time to finish. That is, unless you have another car to drive around.

I basically have 4-5 days to complete the install without too much worry about needing a car. If I can't then I'll be asking for rides everywhere.

Greddy only locks out their 50 state legal kits. So, until the CARb cert it, it will prob stay open.I've heard some horror stories on Enjuku’s SR20 swaps that has scared me from doing the SR. Hopefully this will be a good alt.

hey, why is this kit only for an s14? i know that there are issues with room and what not but is it due to space constraints or is it engine (as in 95 and up) specific?

Nope. You're not wrong. I posted this on another thread but the pulses are not supposed to hit the turbo at the same time, they are supposed to reach the turbo in order so they would help spool up. The pressure wave would have more duty cycle (electronic term), but that's a whole other ball game.
