Hi My Engine will turn over but wont start. I have changed my fulr pump twice already once in 2000 and again in 2002 now its 2004 and I think it needs to be replaced again. Why do I go through so many fule pumps? If that is what it is.... PS Im not getting fule to the fule filter so does that mean it is a bad fule pump?

check the pressure and make sure its ok, if the pressure is down then you may need to replace the fuel pump

are you using oem fuel pumps?

If you've gone through 2 fuel pumps already, it's most likely something else. Are you blowing fuses? Have you changed the fuel filter recently? Is something blocking the line? Are the injectors clogged? I'm just trying to think of a reason why the pump would be burning out. Incorrect voltage at the pump?

incorrect voltage poped into my head as a possibility but pumps are made to run with 12-14 i think it is.

Thats true, I didn't think of that. What about incorrect amperage? Is the car stock?

a bad sock filter and nasty gas tank could kill some fuel pumps.
