engines VS gearboxes?

Can someone point me in the right direction. does the gearbox for a 2.4 petrol fit the 2.5 disel engine? and does the gearbox for 3.0 V6 fit 2.7TD

tried to google it but it seems I'm not winning the internet this time :gotme

Interesting question. I don't have the answer for that. But i'd be willing to reasearch what I cna for you. I would imagine the 3.0L not working with the 4 cylinder since the bolt pattern is very different from the 2.4L. So the question is how different is the bolt pattern of the 2.4L from the 2.5L?
