s13 red tops14 chassis (obd1)

whats up guys. i finished all the basics tonight and figured i would fire her up to make sure all the wiring was right. First off, im trying to start it without a rad, and without an intercooler. i understand that i cant run it for any longs periods of time (only looking for 15 seconds) and that it will bog if i step on the gas. When i try to start the car, it turns over fine, but doesnt do much more then that. i dont get a chuga chuga, or any signs of it wanting to fire. pulled out a plug, tip was a little wet. i put a screw driver into the coil pack adn grounded it out on the frame, it arced. im assuming it is getting fuel since the plugs are wet. what else could it be. i was looking at the wiring directions that i used and it seems liek the only wires that would affect the starting would be the ignitor wires, which i will double check tom.

if i pull out an injector, do i have ot replace the seal? that is the only thing stopping me from taking out an injector... any suggestions would be helpful.

oh yeah, when i received the engine, the timing thing, im not srue what its called. the black thing that rotates is loose, so as i turned it over i had a buddy slowly miove it back and forth, didnt help. help.. lol..

Did you set your timing using the cam gears? Also I don't think you need to pull your injectors. If you take a hollow tube put your ear to it and the other end on the injector you should hear it opening and closing. Saves you time abd money from pulling the injectors.

i figured if it was a used motor i would not have to set the timing from the gears.
