engine wont start

i just did a dohc swap and i put the new throttle cable on yesterday turn over the car and it redline for like 2sec i turn the car off fixed the cable and started the car again and it started fine cut the car off a hour later started the car again and it wouldnt start i took out the spark plugs and they were cover with oil.. does this mean the engine is done? this afternoon i check the ecu and the code on it said that the Engine temperature sensor circuit was faulty could that also not make the car turn over?

could be the starter dieing from cranking

have you tried to jumpstart? get a new battery?

was the oil on the tips of the spark plugs or above the threads?
