engine wont start... shift lock...

i just got my 240sx a month ago i went for a 3 day vacation so i left my car w/o removing the negative wire of ma battery so i got home and got a discharge battery... the first time i turn it on it would crank then after tryin to start it for a couple pf times it wont even crank then theres this mini alarm sound which im not familiar w/ and i cant shift to any gear from parking gear... is this just a discharge batter problem or something more worst? like transmission? alternator? ignition? help!! :icesangel
