Engine won't turn overt to start

My 2010 Rogue suddenly won't start. I have electricity, so it does not appear to be the battery. Lights, radio, and a/c work, though I turn them all off when I'm trying to start it.

I get a rapid clicking sound when I turn the key and for the first 15 minutes of trying that was all I got. Then, when I turned the key I started getting a weak effort at turn over followed by more clicking. But still no engine start. I drove it in to work and went out at lunch and everything worked fine. Now, at end of the work day, no start.

Sunny day in the 70s (F) here inVirginia, and near sea level.

Anyone have any ideas?

Original battery? Battery is probably bad. You can get it load tested @ Autozone.

Try to jump start for now to get you going.

get your battery tested with a LOAD meter, not just a multi-meter

If it's still the original battery I'm guessing that is the problem
