engine won't rev past 2000rpms

I really don't know what to say. My engine won't rev past 2000rpms, and when you accelerate it bogs and runs like crap. It's almost a feeling of hitting a rev limiter at 2000rpms. I really don't know why it's doing this. I've messed with a lot of stuff, and ruled some stuff out.... It actually idles alright, really rich, but it idles fine. It's mostly just under acceleration.

Also, it runs about as rich as bill gates

I just want you guys to throw some ideas at me..believe me, i'm not a complete idiot, so please no stupid ideas.

Most likely the MAF is completely shot...

yeh, i was hoping that wasn't so. already replaced it once.

possible as is it possibly a circuit problem. if you have put one in it and have the issue again, i would reccomend you break out the multimeter and some t-pins. we need to trouble shoot it properly. are you down?

I replaced the MAF, and it runs as good as new!
