Engine woes, plz help.

I drive a 2003 spec v. I purchased a rebuilt engine recently after the origional one threw a con rod. The new engine starts and runs like a champ, but idles horribly. Current codes are:

p0011 ("a" camshaft position - timing overadvance (bank1)) and

p0300 (multiple cyl misfire) which im assuming is a result of the p0011.

Any help would be much appreciated.
