When I press the gas pedal gently, as to not accelerate heavly, I hear a higher pitch sound, sort of like a whistle, but closer to the sound a kitchen/bathroom water faucet makes when you only turn it on slightly.

Its annoying me! I have Ztube/pop charger, and I'm not sure if it made that sound before. I know it did before the ztube. I had installed the pop charger first. I can alway put the stock intake back on and test, but I figured I'd ask ya'll first.

This normal?

With the Z tube/Pop Charger, yeah that's normal. Probably happens between 3 & 4000 RPM when you're accelerating?

it happens can happen at all RPM's. If I take my foot off the pedal, then put it back on and push it just enough to keep up speed, I hear it.

The whistling noise is normal I will say that, but why I'm not sure. I've always thought it was leak of some sort, but everyone else who has the Pop Charger says they hear it. I usually hear it around 3000 RPM when accelerating, but I can hear it above 2000 under certain conditions.

It's either the intake, a leak, or one of your belts.

Did a little more listening today on the daily grind, and it only makes the noise at and above 2200rpm. I'll check for leaks tonight.

Yeah, I tried to listen for it today...I've sort of become oblivious to it. But it does happen right around 2200-2400 RPM and up. If you find a leak due to the install, I think you'll be the first one to do so.
