I just bought a 2001 2WD QX4 a couple of weeks ago, she has 93K on the odometer.

I'm getting a mild engine vibration in idle, when I brake to stop, and also when i shift to reverse. This occurs even with the A/C off. I can even feel it in the steering wheel. It's not violent, however I don't know if this will get progressively worse?

Anyone else with experiences of this problem? Is this normal for a 2001 with 93K miles? I know it's not going to ride brand-new, but if it can be fixed I would like to do it. The only thing off the top of my head is the motor mount.

Before I take it to a mechanic, I just wanted to see if anyone else may know a cause.

That's not normal. I have an 01 qx4 with 109k and mine has never done that. I'm not sure what the deal is.

take a look at ur idle to see what it is doing, if its been sitting for a while they always then to drive rough for the first lil while put some good gas an highway miles, maybe try a octane booster or gas cleaner
