Changed all the motor mounts (motor, and tyranny) with nismo mounts and motor still shakes like crazy. Adjusted the idle to 1300 rpm and it stops the shaking. It only shakes at about 800rpm. ALso it stops shaking when EITHER the #1 cylinder spark plug wire or the fuel injector wire is pulled. Could it be the cylinder itself is bad? Have not done a commpression test yet. Just trying to get some clues on what it might be...

If it smoothed out at idle with the fuel disconnected, it sounds like that cylinder is running rich at idle, when you rev it up it goes away.

This is absolultly was is happening. I also got the vehicle smog pretest today. I passed on my Nox(after changing the timing) but failed on HC and CO. They were twice as high as they were before and now I'm constituted as a gross polluter =( I will ripping the head of tonight. Hoping the problem will lie in the valves or somewhere. I dont even know I'm just gonna start looking and go from there. I know the car is running rich though.

How can I fix the problem you speak of irocknrol2??? Do you have any suggestions? I would like to take care of this myself, but if all else fails I will have to bite the bullet and take it to a mechanic.

sounds like that injector is either stuck open or is leaking. take a ohmmeter to it and find out the resistance across that injector. if it's different from your other injectors, i'd have replace the injector. if it's the plugs, now would be as good a time as any to replace the spark plugs and probably your ignition wires especially if you're having emissions testing done.
