You mention putting new ignition components in the system but you do not tell us the obvious. Have you varified that you in fact are getting a good spark at the plugs. something as simple as a bad ground will prevent you from starting we had painted a block and although the ground was connected it could not conplete the circuit for the coil. you also need to varify the compression.and check timing marks.buy an off the shelf starting fluid they contain upper end lubricates that create less havoc on the engine than brake clean. if this is only a fuel issue the engine should run momentarily with the fuild. if it doesn't i'd look elsewhere.basically you need only four components spark, fuel,compression, and air to get this engine to start. We have started some really beat engines you have alot of room to play with.dailing it in is another matter.find out what you don't have and you will be close.
