Engine Tuck- Fuel Filter

I plan to tuck some of the stuff in my bay, and I wanted to know if I can get longer fuel line for in front of the fuel filter and run it farther down the line i.e, under the car? My old isuzu rodeo had the fuel filter under the frame rails in the middle of the car
